IRS Scams are the hottest topic on television and the internet. It seems that everyone has a huge fear of “IRS” because it has put away some of the most well know people in the country like Al Capone, Martha Stewart, Willie Nelson… This fear has allowed scammers to use “robocalls” to plant a fear and if they actually reach you they try to get you to pay them immediately. Watch out for people saying your social security number has been compromised or there has been an error on your tax return.
The fact is the IRS will never call you!
Here’s an example of how humorous the robocalls have gotten. This is a call that Curt received just last week.
